This report, a Charles Pankow Foundation, ACEC Research Institute and DBIA partnership, presents findings from a comprehensive, multi-phase study examining the current state of Progressive Design-Build (PDB) implementation.
Drawing on surveys of firms and projects, as well as interviews with teams from both completed and off-ramped projects, the research explores how PDB is being applied across the industry. The findings show continued growth in PDB adoption and highlight its collaborative approach to aligning scope, cost, schedule and risk. The report also identifies the key factors that contribute to successful implementation and demonstrates strong schedule performance and potential cost savings compared to other project delivery methods.
